SCIENCE DAY

National Science Day

 On 28th February, National Science Day was celebrated in G. V. M.'s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education. This programme was organized by our science teacher Dr. Anna Neena George. The chief guest of the programme was Mr. Uday Gaonkar.

 The programme started with lightning of lamp followed by seeing  Science mela in which science students had demonstrated science experiments. Our library was converted into space arena for a day by our fine arts teacher (an incredible artist) Sir Diptej Vernekar.

Also, biology exhibitions were displayed on the ground floor which includes mangroves, placentation in vegetables and phyllotaxy.

Special quiz room was created so that students who get knowledge about something interesting of science which they never know.

For this programme, Ma'am had invited the students from Vividha Higher Secondary School, Navelim specially to see the science mela.

After that the formal function started by a welcome song. Students of other subjects also had paticipated in this programme. In their respective methods, they related science by doing act, dance, .
